Aston had neither a Cup nor a League game and fielded an "A" side away against Veseyans. The visitors had an excellent first half with McNamee scoring three tries and the final score gave Aston a 48-10 margin.
The Thirds had a storming late win against Spartans with Gardener grabbing two tries close to the whistle and Cleghorn getting the third try when his forwards drove him across the line in the most dynamic pushover seen at the ground for many a a year.
The Fourths went down 35-15 at Spartans and the tries were credited to Lydiard, Arran and Cunningham.
